Using the Templates
Use our 4by6.com templates to tell us exactly how you would like your card printed and trimmed. Simply download the template appropriate to your software program and card dimensions then follow the directions on the file.

Setting Your Bleeds
Always extend images, borders and background colors to the outer magenta bleed line on the 4by6.com template.
If your bleeds are correctly extended...
Your final prints will never have white, unprinted edges.
If your bleeds are not extended...
White, unprinted paper may appear at the edge of your cards due to minor cutting variations. If this is confusing, please contact Design Support to ensure your bleeds are correctly extended.
Images and colors are correctly
extended to the magenta bleed line.
If your bleeds are correctly extended
and a cutting variation occurs, your
print will not have any white edges.

Keeping Your Content Safe
Always keep important information, such as type or logos, within the safe
area indicated by the inner orange safe area line on the 4by6.com
template.
If your content is within the safe area...
Important information will never be cropped.
If your content is not within the safe area...
Important information may be cropped due to minor cutting variations. If this is confusing, please contact Design Support to ensure your important information is kept safe.
